Strawberry Days Festival

Hotel Denver guests booking in June can walk on over to Strawberry Days, Colorado’s oldest civic festival. Strawberry Days draws thousands of locals and visitors alike to a one-of-a-kind arts and crafts exhibition that features live music, entertainment, and interactive creative experiences for the kids. You won’t want to miss the parade down Grand Avenue and the crowning of Miss Strawberry Days.

Stick around for the traditional complimentary strawberries and ice cream too! The event has grown and changed since the days of strawberry picnics over a century ago, but the essence of Strawberry Days remains the same – to have fun, meet old friends, and make new ones.

Adventure Tours

The adventurous can book a whitewater rafting or kayaking trip on the mighty Colorado River and float right by The Hotel Denver on a beautiful summer day. Nestled in the deep gorge of beautiful Glenwood Canyon, the river comes to life each spring opening up the opportunity to take an exhilarating journey through the rapids, or a gentler trip that the whole family can enjoy!

The Glenwood Adventure Company also offers ATV, Side by Side, and Jeep adventure rides with dinner packages. The tours feature stunning views of the Glenwood Canyon, Colorado River, Mount Sopris, and more.

Glenwood Springs Shopping

Your first inclination when you pull into downtown Glenwood Springs may be to hit the shops on Grand Avenue. Hotel Denver guests can take mere steps from the lobby to the heart of downtown where a vibrant and pedestrian-friendly scene draws visitors to the local shops.

Glenwood has just about anything a devoted shopper might desire. When hunger calls after a day of browsing and buying, head right up 7th Avenue and recharge at the Glenwood Canyon Brewpub. Get some rest, wake up, and repeat. There’s plenty to explore!

What made our stay at Hotel Denver was the employees, their kindness and hospitality were beyond amazing.
